The Biocultural Education and Research Programme, in collaboration with The National Cultural Foundation, has embarked on a national initiative. This is an opportunity for us to highlight and recognise the value of plants and their contribution to the quality of our lives, where sustainability is concerned.
About SustainaBIM
In 2021, The Biocultural Education and Research Programme launched the SustainaBIM schools’ competition to engage the youth in discussion and activity around topics of sustainability in Barbados. The focus of this year’s competition will be the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) as stated by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The goals are outlined below:
